What do you call someone who loves to cook, plays video and board games, rides a bike, and draws cartoons?

A UX/UI Designer, but you can just call me Richard!

I love making things that bring a smile to people’s faces, whether I’m creating meaningful, usable digital products and experiences, posting a daily monster drawing to Instagram and turning them into adorable stickers, pins and infant/children's apparel, or collaborating with authors to add poignant, funny illustrations to their articles.

As a UX/UI Designer, I believe that putting the customer first is the key to a great experience. It seems really obvious, I know. I’m a visual communicator; I love sketching out problems and ideas, creating wireframes and mockups, and watching people interact with prototypes I’ve created. But having the prettiest product on the block doesn’t mean anything if it doesn’t work for the user. And that’s why I also love talking to customers. Finding out about their habits, rituals and routines, what they like, or dislike, or are even neutral about. Then building a product that works for them. If it looks great, that’s icing on the cake.

Now, you're probably still asking "What does cooking, cycling and playing games have to do with User Experience, Richard?" Let's connect and talk about it, and how I'd fit into your company.
